WallFlowers 2005
Wallflowers (2005) is an early photographic intervention series in which Barbara Greczny inserted images of flowers into damaged walls, tiled surfaces, and architectural thresholds to create quiet visual interruptions within overlooked urban spaces. By placing fragile organic forms against structures marked by wear, absence, and time, the work reflects an emerging interest in memory, trace, and the relationship between bodies and environments—concerns that continue to shape her later multimedia installations, including Traces & Echoes.
